Step 1 :- To apply online for PRAN through your Aadhaar card, you must first go to the official website of nsdl https://enps.nsdl.com/eNPS/NationalPensionSystem.html.
Step 2 :- Click on the National Pension System link here.
On clicking on it, you will get a dialog box with “Registration” option on the screen. Click on it. Now you have to select how you want to proceed with the registration process.
Step 3 :- Here you click on the option “Register with Aadhaar Online e-KYC” and click on Next.
Step 4 :- Now here you can complete KYC by entering Aadhaar OTP. This OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar registered mobile number.
Step 6 :- After this, your photo and demographic details will automatically be transferred from your aadhar data to the online on this portal.
Fill other required details online.
Step 7 :- Upload your signature in .JPEG or .JPG format, here keep in mind that the file size should be between 4kb and 12 kb.

How to Apply Online for PRAN by PAN Number?
If you want to apply for PRAN card online using your PAN Number the step by step process is given below:
- To apply online for PRAN by PAN Number, first of all you have to go to the official website of NSDL https://enps.nsdl.com/eNPS/NationalPensionSystem.html.
- For this you must have a “PAN Card” (Permanent Account Number).
- You need to have an account with the bank for KYC, to register as a subscriber of eNPS.
- Your KYC registration will be processed by the bank selected by you.
- The name and address provided at the time of registration should match with the bank records for KYC verification.
- If the information does not match, the application may get rejected. In case of rejection of KYC by the selected bank, the applicant is requested to contact the bank
- You need to fill in all the mandatory information online.
- You have to upload your 1 scanned photograph and scanned digital signature in *.jpeg/*.jpg format with 4kb -12kb file size.

Process to Apply Online for PRAN by PAN Number
Step 1 :- Here on the homepage you will find a link named “National Pension System”. Click on it.

Step 3 :- Now click on the “Register with PAN” option and proceed to the KYC process.
For KYC verification, it is necessary to have a bank account with an NPS authorized bank.
